Or is it laziness and cheapness?
One of my buddies did not have a champagne opener. He did however have a borrowed philips screw driver. I took out a screw from his dining chair used the screw driver to drive the screw into the cork and then used a pair of tongs to uncork the bottle.
Corrective Lens that change color based on sunlight ~= super glue + old glasses + used shades
